School Song- English Translation

This world is lovely, all decorated with wealth, fruits and flowers. But even so, among all the countries in the world, the most beautiful is our own wonderful country. Her strength is woven with beautiful dreams, awesome courage and love. This is her glory. By searching, one cannot find a country as wonderful as Guyana! O Guyana O Guyana you are a crown among all other countries. In whose green fields and forest, the birds sing. In your gardens, birds, bees and butterflies revel as they sip nectar from the radiant tropical flowers. Guyana whose rice (paddy) is gold and whose cane is silver. Black, yellow, fair and simple, is her children. Here dharma teaches love and friendliness, togetherness and culture. Among brothers, immense love exists and there is fraternity between mothers and sisters. Where else, where else, can such love be found O mother? In the service of this land let me die.

School Prayer
