Established in 1942 Tagore Memorial Secondary School was named after the poet Rabindranath Tagore (1861 - 1941). At present the school has a population of 600 students and 40 teachers. It has 24 classrooms, 3 laboratories, 1 staffroom, 1 Home Economics department room, 1 Reading room, 1 Deputy Head Teacher’s Office, and 1 Head Teacher’s office.
